Michael Rooz, D.D.S., P.A.
Dr. Michael Rooz, DDS, PA, is a skilled cosmetic and general dentist at Apple Family Dentistry. Dr. Rooz provides the full spectrum of smile care to children and adults living in Irving, Texas, and the surrounding area.
Dr. Rooz is experienced in all aspects of general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, working with patients of all ages on their oral health concerns. He believes that each person deserves to have a beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime. At Apple Family Dentistry, Dr. Rooz understands every patient has unique needs and offers customized treatments to help them achieve their oral health goals.
He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating with his bachelor’s degree in biology. He then went on to obtain his doctorate in dental surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry (currently recognized as Texas A&M School of Dentistry) in Dallas. In 2002, he opened his first dental practice in Las Colinas and has since been fine-tuning and perfecting his skills and delivery of patient care over the years.
Dr. Rooz strives to keep up-to-date with all of the latest advancements in the field of dentistry. He has received specialized training in dental implantology as well as orthodontics. Additionally, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Dallas County Dental Society, and the American Orthodontic Society. He is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
In his free time, Dr. Rooz enjoys playing sports and having quality time with his family.
Hema Desai
RDH
Hemakshi received her dental hygiene license from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1998. Better known as Hema to her patients, she enjoys every aspect of dentistry. Her love for her profession reflects in the care that she provides for her patients of all ages. She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and Texas Dental Hygiene Association.
Sabrina Cates
Practice Manager/RDA
Sabrina has been a vital part of our dental team since summer 2005 after receiving her RDA the previous year. Sabrina holds an Associate of Science from North Lake College and attended Midwestern State University. In her time away from the office she and husband Dustin enjoy vacationing, attending sporting events and spending time with family. Her experience in both the clinical and business area of dentistry, make Sabrina an excellent resource in all areas of our practice.
